the mission

To provide a forum for the intersection of spirit and art - a place to share what creations we must manifest to continue living in a meaningful way.

Welcome!

I'm open to what develops here - poetry, fiction, non-fiction, images, videos, quotes, insight - mainly looking at this blog as a record or shared diary in a spirit of playfulness and inspiration....mental froth, mind's eye materialization, and life songs lost and found.

Focused Intensity

This is a thought provoking article on replacing the cliche of "needing more balance" with an approach the author calls "focused intensity". Definitely worth contemplating.

gurus call hope a delusion
a late snow melting

the weight of human ignorance
defies reason

I want to share some pictures of long beach in pacific rim national park. It was here that I encountered the most beautiful sunset of my life on April 14, 2010. I have seen many sunsets on different beaches all over the world but this one was simply amazing. I will never forget that experience...

everyday haiku

from my memory
and through my heart, she travels
