the mission

To provide a forum for the intersection of spirit and art - a place to share what creations we must manifest to continue living in a meaningful way.

I'm open to what develops here - poetry, fiction, non-fiction, images, videos, quotes, insight - mainly looking at this blog as a record or shared diary in a spirit of playfulness and inspiration....mental froth, mind's eye materialization, and life songs lost and found.

My home is fragile
made of people
more than concrete,
words more than bricks,
misunderstanding as much as
trees or planks or drywall;
It runs on trust like electricity
and shocks me
at times into frozen states of mind

My home is more solid than many;
Winds and floods and storms
have not yet knocked it down.

it runs on trust like electricity! how true.
another great sustained metaphor,

modesty in the first line, strength in the next stanza, that's some nice wisdom there, young man, that's some nice wisdom.

I love this poem, it strikes chords, is very intimate and personal, and I like how it flows and links. And if you take it and center-justify the lines, they look like a house on a prairie field. Very structuralist of you.
